The following is a list of Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World Yoshi designs that are unlocked throughout the game. Most designs are unlocked by collecting Wonder Wool scattered through each level. Other designs are unlocked through scanning certain amiibo, listed below, as well as any variant of the amiibo. Scanning a non-compatible amiibo will result in the generic Green. Dec 11, 2016 Upon finding all five Wonder Wools in World 1-6, you'll knit back together Shy Guy Yoshi! World 1-7 — Clawdaddy Beach Go forward, defeating a couple Shy Guys and collecting some beads.
Oct 18, 2015 Like many starting worlds, World 1 includes basic levels designed to teach you how the world of Yoshi works, and includes grassy plains, dark caves, and sunny beaches.

This plush pup is always ready to lend a paw when his pal Yoshi needs a little help. Poochy can carry Yoshi over dangerous obstacles, like spikes and lava (ouch!). He’s pretty good at jumping to collect beads, too. You can even play as Poochy in Poochy Dash, racing through side-scrolling stages on a mad dash for beads!
You can tap the Yarn Poochy amiibo figure to get Poochy’s help in the regular game or tap it during Poochy Dash to unlock extra challenges that award Poochy designs*.

Occupation: Yoshi’s Mellow Mode helpers
Special Skills: Sniffing out secrets, like hidden passages and items
The Poochy Pups are a new (and adorable!) addition to the game. Switch from Classic Mode to Mellow Mode to team up with the Poochy Pups. They can help you find collectibles like Smiley Flowers, Wonder Wool, and beads. These curious li’l fellas will jump on suspicious spots to show you where to look!

Wonder Wools are collectible items that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. There are five Wonder Wools in each level, all in a variety of different colors; there are 275 Wonder Wools total in the game. Wonder Wools are Yoshis that have been transformed by Kamek; the Yoshis are made up of five Wonder Wools each. The color of the Yoshi determines the colors of the Wonder Wools it is made up of. If the player collects all five Wonder Wools in a level, a Yoshi pattern is unlocked. Unlike Smiley Flowers or Beads, Wonder Wools cannot be collected by throwing a Yarn Ball at them. However, a Yoshi can throw another Yoshi (or a Poochy Pup in Mellow Mode in the Nintendo 3DS version) at the Wonder Wool to collect it. In the final stage (6-8) Kamek creates giant magenta Wonder Wools, which are used to empower Baby Bowser for the final battle.
